Just came back from NUS ID aptitude test~~
2 hours long but only have 3 questions...
Three abstract abnormal and irritating questions///
Never ever think e test is challenging or watever
cos' when u r taking it, u r actually challenging ur own confidence
Creativity is not everything in ID
If u cant make it out, no creativity w be expressed...
1st Question: Make an abstract model to express "Lightness and Heaviness"
Yes I made a church, using 3 white paper, 1 scissor and scotch tape.
NO coloring is allowed.
Time is limited.
But when I finished my 1st piece of Art Model, I wondered whether i chose e wrong course.
Not an object, but a building...
Isn't it Architecture?
Siao...
2nd Question: Use 5 key words to describe the quality of the following objects in the picture
One teapot
One house in forest
For the teapot: Sharpness against softness, Simple with ergonomics, Reflection, Hot or Cool, the last one i forgot...
For the house: Open nature, Connection, Platform, Lightness in Darkness, Zen...
3rd Question: Use the idea of "lightness and Heaviness", design an object/furniture for one or more pple to sit
Yes I designed my first very own chair on paper
"Talking Chair"
Especially for Couple and Friends.
Isn't it cute?
Two back to back glass transparent chair, connected at the top
Filled with water
So that the water can flow from one chair to another
representing the understanding of each other.
A dark color round ball in-between the two chairs, open topped.
I call it "Rubbish Bin"
Where couples and friends can throw all the misunderstanding and unhappiness inside
So that they can talk openly and freely
There is plant inside yes!!! Cute cute little plant...
When they finishing talking, they can witch on the little turner below the connection part of the chair so that water can be released into the "Rubbish Bin".
And their very own "LOVE PLANT" or "FRIENDSHIP PLANT" can grow up...
it is designed back to back cos i hope face expression, tears, all these things wont affect what u wanna say..
NO Face to Face
But see the Real Face inside each other's soul
HeAr the REal Voice
But isn't the chair a bit unrealistic?>
Anyway I finished my 1st interesting and irritating experience...
No satisfaction
No regret
Just for Memoir...
